Watkins

The Watkins children were abducted on March 8, 2009 by their non-custodial mother, Edyta Ustaszewski-Watkins and her father, Tadeusz Ustaszewski during a court ordered weekend visit. The two boys were taken from Canada into the United States where they boarded a flight to Germany. The boys have recently been found living with their mother in arsaw, Poland.

Mr. Watkins had feared that his ex-wife would abduct his sons. Before the boys were taken he had enlisted the help of Child Find Ontario to try to prevent the boys’ removal from Canada. Ustataszewski-Watkins’ passport had been cancelled. The Ontario Court had ordered that the boys not leave Ontario, that Ustataszewski-Watkins surrender the boys’ passports and that no new passports for the boys be issued.

Ustataszewski-Watkins claimed to have lost the boys’ passports. She then used the “lost” passports and her cancelled passport to enter the United States and then fly to Germany with the boys.

Mr. Watkins is now in Poland trying to secure the return of his children. For more information about this case visit the website.

The boys are still missing. If you have any information about their whereabouts please contact the RCMP or York regional police.
